Recovery planning notes with crossed-out calendar days

FAILURE SURVIVAL INDEX

The Post-Mortem Registry

Missed a day? This page exists for that exact moment. Tactical adjustments, grace-day protocols, and volume-based tracking.

Grace-Day Protocol

One missed day does not disqualify your arc. Follow these steps to resume without restarting from day one.

01

Document the Gap

Record which day was missed and the circumstances. Field logs accept honest entries without penalty.

02

Apply Grace Day

Mark the missed day as a grace entry. Your arc continues on the next calendar day without resetting progress.

03

Reduce Complexity

Temporarily lower your timeline complexity setting by one tier for three days before returning to standard.

04

Resume Logging

Continue daily entries. Volume of completed sessions matters more than an unbroken streak.

STREAK ALTERNATIVE

Broke the Chain?

The rigid thirty-day streak tracker can feel disqualifying after a single missed day. Activate the Consistency Matrix to shift focus toward overall volume.

Consistency Matrix Active

Each cell represents a session. Filled cells count toward your volume score. Dashed cells are grace days. Perfection is not required.

Temporary Difficulty Scaling

When life becomes chaotic, use these formulas to lower challenge intensity without abandoning the arc.

FORMULA_A

50% Reduction

Halve daily task duration or volume for five consecutive days. Suitable for schedule disruptions lasting less than one week.

FORMULA_B

Alternate Days

Complete the challenge on odd-numbered days only. Maintains engagement while halving weekly demand.

FORMULA_C

Micro-Sessions

Replace full sessions with ten-minute minimum entries. Preserves the logging habit during high-stress periods.
